In March 2025, Sarkis Alvandi presented “Collections of a Cab Driver”, his first solo exhibition, at the Armenian Arts Center in Glendale. The show featured a selection of his pen and ink works created over decades, many inspired during his years as a cab driver in Los Angeles.

Curated in collaboration with Armen Chicorian, the exhibition highlighted the depth and vision of Sarkis’s artistry. The Armenian Arts Center provided an inspiring venue for this milestone event, which welcomed a remarkable turnout and heartfelt community support.

At 81 years old, Sarkis Alvandi’s debut exhibition was more than an art show — it was the realization of a lifelong dream and the beginning of a new chapter in sharing his work with the world.
